Role Overview:

We are seeking skilled professionals to play a vital role in our dynamic team responsible for fund accounting. As a senior associate, you will be part of an entrepreneurial environment, working collaboratively with private equity firms globally.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. They will be responsible for preparing daily cash reports for private equity funds, reconciling movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity.

The successful candidate will also formulate proposals for near-term cash management, including loan drawdowns, repayments, and FX trades. They will collaborate closely with the treasury team on cash management topics and liaise with fund owners to review and agree proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily cash reports for private equity funds
  • Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity
  • Formulate proposals for near-term cash management
  • Liaise with fund owners within the treasury team
  • Collaborate closely with the treasury team on cash management topics
Requirements:

Education:

  • Post-graduate degree or equivalent qualification (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA)

Experience:

  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting is preferred
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP
  • Ability to work independently, identifying ways to enhance processes and outcomes that benefit the organization
  • Prioritize a large workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously
  • Show initiative, willingness to learn, and take on responsibilities as a contributing team member
  • Solutions-focused, able to work in unstructured environments with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to acknowledge what is not understood and seek assistance
  • Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
