About the Role

Care.fi is a health fintech startup offering smart financing and claim management solutions to hospitals.

We are seeking an experienced Debt Funding Specialist with expertise in raising debt funds and experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks.

The successful candidate will drive the process of raising debt capital, build relationships with lenders and investors, structure debt transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop funding strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive debt fundraising from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with lenders, financial institutions, rating agencies, and investors.
  • Structure debt transactions, negotiate loan terms, and ensure optimal funding costs.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC regulations and maintain compliance with lending frameworks.
  • Develop funding strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management.
  • Assess funding risks and mitigate exposure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in raising debt funds from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players.
  • Prior experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks is a must.
  • Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines.
  • Solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
