**Job Title:** Application Specialist

This is a crucial role in our organization that requires someone to play a key part in supporting business functions by describing and documenting business requirements for the application in scope.

We are looking for an individual who can convert business requirements into a development maintenance plan that respects global IT strategy, policies, and other relevant frameworks. This includes collaborating with other application specialists to ensure a consistent solution and long-term governance of data.

A successful candidate will stay updated on vendor updates, patches, and fixes and contribute to the development and maintenance plan for the application, as well as work on IT architecture and design rules.

The ideal candidate will introduce new functionality and propose changes to drive business efficiency. They will also focus on quality, performance, and cost efficiency of the application in scope.

Documenting and maintaining records of business requirements and implementation of these requirements in the application is essential.

We require the selected candidate to provide second- and third-line support, end-user training, user manuals, and FAQs for the application in scope.

Driving testing of the application according to the defined test strategy and plan, as well as leading the work on compliance to policies, laws, and regulations, are critical tasks.

  • Ability to document complex technical information
