Internal Audit Specialist

 

This position involves carrying out comprehensive audits to ensure the effectiveness of operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recording, reviewing and interpreting data, generating reports and presenting findings to management or other interested parties.

The role also entails performing and controlling the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operational effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

A key responsibility is to obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.

The ideal candidate should be able to identify process gaps, if any, and recommend risk mitigation measures.

Documentation of processes and preparation of audit memoranda are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements and qualifications include:

  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Audit & Controls.
  • Graduation /CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter).
