About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high-quality data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to guarantee data consistency and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Audit and perform data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT service management (ITSM) processes and tools, enhancing overall system efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices, promoting awareness and adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
