Project Lead - Construction Management

This is a key role that oversees the successful delivery of projects from partial design to complete execution. As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time and ensuring exceptional quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Understand drawings (2D/3D) of all disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc).
  • Risk Assessment: Identify design discrepancies and anticipate potential execution risks.
  • Validation and Review: Validate and review work orders, BOQs, drawings, etc.
  • Schedule Development: Develop detailed project execution schedules highlighting inter-dependent tasks.
  • Quality Control: Audit site work through regular inspections and remote monitoring with quality control.
  • Timely Completion: Ensure all quality and timeline requirements are met.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and instructions to Site Supervisors.
  • Site Updates: Maintain timely site updates for customers.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as a bridge between designers and customers during project execution.
  • Progress Reporting: Update project trackers and summaries, sharing weekly progress reports with stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify performance bottlenecks, develop corrective solutions, and implement them end-to-end.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain quality standards and ensure superior customer experiences.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams on key initiatives such as SOPs, pricing, and new ventures.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain vendor relationships, addressing concerns promptly.

Requirements and Qualifications


Necessary Expertise:

  • A management graduate or construction management degree from a reputable institution.
  • A strong background in project management, engineering, or architecture with 6+ years of experience.
  • An in-depth understanding and appreciation of site execution for home renovations.
  • The ability to assess design feasibility, visualize on-site conditions, and anticipate execution risks.
  • Process-driven project management professionals with quick problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to prioritizing work.
  • A high level of ownership and learning aptitude.
  • Past experience in project management/operations is essential for this role.
  • Preference given to those who have worked with ops-focused startups.
  • Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and possessing strong data analysis skills.
