Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our credit underwriting and monitoring operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement underwriting policies that ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  2. Collaborate with the data science team to analyze underwriting models and validate their performance.
  3. Determine performance benchmarks and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Automate credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness.
  5. Determine pricing strategies based on segmentation.
  6. Standardize policies and processes across the organization.
  7. Track portfolio profitability and risk thresholds.

Performance Metrics:

  1. Analyze portfolio performance and recommend policy changes to senior management.
  2. Conduct regular credit reviews of existing portfolios and identify high-risk segments.
  3. Mitigate risks identified through portfolio analysis.
  4. Monitor delinquent accounts to ensure compliance with company standards.
  5. Identify technological solutions to improve existing processes and portfolio management functions.
  6. Analyze various management information systems (MIS) to monitor portfolio performance and risk.

New Partnership Integrations:

  1. Evaluate new channel partners and their product offerings.
  2. Understand the customer journey and identify required data sets.
  3. Create policies based on product, data availability, and prevailing models.
  4. Facilitate data room exercises for new customer segments.
  5. Formulate policies considering expected loss rates.
  6. Monitor implementation, UAT, and production testing of policies.
