Kids Wear Sourcing and Merchandising Expert

We are seeking a skilled Sourcing and Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for building relationships with vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely deliveries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and merchandising, with experience in the kids wear industry. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to analyze complex data, and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing: Identify and evaluate reliable fabric suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure child-safe fabric standards.
- Merchandising: Translate design concepts into technical packs, BOMs, and cost sheets, manage sample development cycles, and conduct quality checks.
Requirements
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, or Garment Manufacturing.
- Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in sourcing and merchandising for kids wear.
- Strong knowledge of cotton fabrics, knits, washes, natural dyes, and kids wear sizing (1-6 years).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Hands-on approach with willingness to travel to vendor locations, mills, and job workers.
