Key Data Engineering Role

As a seasoned Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Job Description:

  • Design and implement complex data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Python programming languages.
  • Develop and optimize SQL logic for large data volumes, ensuring high performance and data quality.
  • Experience with orchestration and ETL tools such as Matillion is advantageous.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to transform requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Document processes and share knowledge with junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-15 years of experience in data engineering with strong SQL skills.
  • Proven ability to write complex SQL logic and optimize performance for large data volumes.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), with a preference for Fabric Data Factory over PaaS ADF.
  • Experience with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD practices related to SQL and ETL tools.
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including components like Azure Blob Storage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Azure certifications.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in performance tuning.
