Oracle PL/SQL Developer

We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Development: Design, develop and maintain high-performance Oracle databases that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Query Optimization: Write, optimize and debug complex SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Performance Tuning: Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure the optimal performance of our database applications.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Programming Skills: Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modeling and normalization.
  • Performance Tuning: Experience with performance tuning techniques and proficiency in working with Oracle database versions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Additional Technologies: Experience with other database technologies.
  • Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripting.
  • ETL Processes: Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Oracle Certification: Oracle certification is highly desirable.
