Key Role Summary

This strategic training professional will oversee the development, execution and refinement of comprehensive educational programs, guiding junior colleagues and aligning initiatives with organizational goals. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of learning theories, curriculum design and effective instructional strategies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative training programs and curricula that meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement training initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with broader business objectives.
  • Evaluate and enhance training programs based on participant feedback and performance metrics.
Leadership and Guidance
  • Mentor and support junior training specialists, providing coaching and developmental opportunities.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops, demonstrating best practices in adult education.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that promotes knowledge sharing and growth.
Strategic Planning and Innovation
  • Design and execute strategic plans to expand the reach and impact of training programs.
  • Identify and leverage cutting-edge training methodologies and technologies to drive business success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate training initiatives with organizational strategies and goals.
Evaluation and Improvement
  • Design and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify areas for improvement and inform program development.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS including educational institutions, industry partners, and community organizations.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other professional events.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to promote training programs and services.

Educational Requirements: Master's degree in Education, Training and Development, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.

Professional Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in educational training and development, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Able to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and e-learning platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a specific industry or educational sector relevant to our focus.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
  • A proven track record of successful program development and implementation.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel to training sites and conferences.
