Seeking highly skilled individuals for a challenging role in mortgage pre-closing services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Job Description

As a process specialist in mortgage pre-closing, you will be responsible for reviewing loan packages, creating initial and subsequent closing disclosures, and coordinating with title and settlement agents to ensure timely closures. Your expertise will be utilized to prepare preliminary closing disclosures, issue initial closing disclosures/re-disclosures to clients, and review flood insurance/flood certifications, title commitments, ownership of deeds, loan approvals, tax certs, and preliminary closing disclosures.

You will also be responsible for closely monitoring individual closing pipelines, workloads, and volume levels to maximize balance and efficiency. Additionally, you will review Power of Attorneys (POA), cash to close, create closing documents, monitor required waiting periods, request preclosing audits prior to closures, deliver final closing documents, and review final closing documents for accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent for US operations and graduation degree for India operations with 18 months of experience in preparing initial and final closing documents.
  • Knowledge of commonly used mortgage concepts, practices, procedures, and Fannie Freddie guidelines to complete tasks.
  • Working knowledge of any loan origination systems.
  • BASIC knowledge to work on MS office tools.
