Mortgage Title Specialist

This position involves performing thorough title searches and analyzing records to ensure accuracy in property ownership and transfer of title.
Mortgage lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders rely on your expertise to identify potential issues and provide timely assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive current owner searches and full searches of public records.
- Analyze title records to identify ownership, encumbrances, and defects that may impact property ownership or the transfer of title.
- Verify legal descriptions of properties and ensure accuracy in all title search findings.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing title search results and documenting any discrepancies or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to address title issues and provide assistance as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience as a Title Searcher with a focus on current owner searches and full searches is mandatory.
- Mandatory experience with Netronline is required.
- Familiarity with other paid applications like Fidlar, Titlepoint, Landex, and Landshark is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of real estate terminology, laws, and procedures is essential.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work is crucial.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
