About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Track Alignment Specialist to join our team in preparing preliminary designs and driving key projects forward. This role demands technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Track Center Lines: Ensure precision and accuracy in designing horizontal and vertical track center lines.
  • Develop Points and Crossings: Design points and crossings based on operational concepts.
  • Implement Standard Procedures: Create and implement standard working procedures for seamless execution.
  • Analyze As-Built Components: Analyze as-built components, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting suitable solutions to maintain quality standards.
  • Plan Daily Activities: Plan and coordinate daily activities involved in rail track design and infrastructure development.
  • Utilize Rail Design Software: Utilize Rail Design software for swept path analysis, regression analysis, and drainage considerations.
  • Prepare Design Calculations: Prepare and review design calculations for cant, cant deficiency, cant excess, speed, rate of change of cant, and transition.
  • Ensure Quality Deliverables: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards through checks and reviews.
  • Conduct Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and interface with various teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, with 5 years dedicated to track alignment in metro projects.
