  • Accounts Receivable: Monitor outstanding receivables, track payments, and collaborate with the credit control team to ensure timely collections.
  • Client Account Reconciliation: Reconcile B2B client accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing or payment issues promptly.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets related to B2B transactions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure the financial health of the B2B segment.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure all B2B financial operations are compliant with local and international tax regulations, including VAT/GST.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on B2B client profitability, cost control, and opportunities for improving financial performance.
  • Contract Review: Review financial clauses in client contracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and increase efficiency within the B2B unit.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, credit control, and operations teams to ensure smooth financial transactions and resolve any finance-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, particularly in a B2B environment. Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations based on insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Tax Laws: Understanding of local and international tax laws, including VAT/GST, and financial regulations relevant to B2B transactions.
  • Customer Service: Client-focused approach with the ability to manage financial inquiries and resolve client issues efficiently.
