About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer 2 to build our infrastructure from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for an innovative individual to architect the foundation that will scale our technology platform.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code foundations. They will lead our SOC2 compliance journey, implement customer-managed encryption, and create automated security scanning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Development: Architect our cloud platform on GCP, design and implement our first proper CI/CD pipeline, and build our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform.
  • Security and Compliance: Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by building security into every layer of our infrastructure, implement customer-managed encryption, and create automated security scanning systems.
  • Developer Platform Creation: Build the self-service platform that lets developers provision infrastructure in minutes, create golden paths that make the secure choice the default choice, and design observability systems that give developers superpowers in production.
Requirements
  • Cloud Architecture: Expertise in designing and implementing cloud platforms on GCP.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Ability to design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Security and Compliance: Experience in leading SOC2 compliance journeys and implementing customer-managed encryption.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code foundations.
