Senior Test Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the testing process for various software applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage
  • Analyze user requirements to identify and address any gaps
  • Provide valuable inputs and feedback during the preparation of test scripts and scenarios
  • Manage system integration testing for systems that are directly or indirectly impacted by changes
  • Ensure the delivery of testing results meets agreed criteria within the stipulated time frame
  • Identify, record, escalate, and retest defects, ensuring they are resolved based on expected test results, requirement specifications, and proposed processes
  • Provide regular status updates, test summary reports, and escalate issues to the manager in a timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, providing support during critical situations
  • Knowledge on Core Applications: Digital Banking, Finacle, PRIME, 4 CAPS, CARDNET, CASMEX, CPPS, DCR, DDS, Flexcube, FTS, IBPS, Infobip, RLS
