Teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) is a highly rewarding role that requires strong planning and delivery skills. As an EAL Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging educational content, teaching students who are learning English as a second language, assessing their progress, and providing support to help them develop their language skills.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in lesson planning, effective communication and teaching skills, experience in training and professional development, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a school community. Relevant teaching qualifications and experience are required, although experience in an international school environment is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lessons aimed at students learning English as an additional language
  • Create educational content that engages students and supports their language development
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their learning
  • Provide training and support to help students develop their language skills
  • Foster a conducive learning environment and support the pastoral development and wellbeing of students
