Part-Time Online Education Position

The role involves providing subject matter guidance to a group of students and delivering weekly lectures for a minimum of two hours per session. The educator will be responsible for the day-to-day academic support and delivery responsibilities, working under the guidance of an experienced university faculty member.

A Master's or Doctoral Degree (with industry experience) in Cloud Computing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Candidates must have 5+ Years of experience in teaching programming courses, especially cloud technologies, big data, or data engineering courses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter guidance to a group of students
  • Deliver weekly lectures for a minimum of two hours per session
  • Support in learning skills like academic writing, research, and time management
  • Assessment marking with feedback
  • Respond to student queries via email within a (6-hr window)

Key Skills:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark)
  • Proficient in English language; excellent oral and written communication
