Job Position: Billing Executive/Cashier

The primary responsibility of a billing executive/cashier is to manage all financial transactions and ensure timely payments from customers.

  • Identify outstanding accounts using enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Generate bills and invoices according to customer requirements.
  • Distribute invoices to clients via digital and traditional channels.
  • Reconcile all payments with invoices for accuracy.
  • Receive and sort incoming payments including cash, debit/credit cards, online payments, and unified payments interface.
  • Manage petty cash transactions.
  • Identify inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Update receivables specific to each customer regularly.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Submit all collected cash to the concerned authority at the end of each day.
  • Verify all payments received at the end of each day.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounting team.
  • Compile and present monthly and quarterly reports to the relevant authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with accounting software/enterprise resource planning systems such as Oracle/SAP.
  • Strong computational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess robust written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of office software and machinery.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a billing executive in a large retail environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Passion for numbers and financial data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • A team player with good time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maintain integrity in all business dealings.
