
Transaction Strategist

We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead our transactions practice, shaping the growth of a strategic business unit and joining our core leadership team.
The Chief Transaction Strategist will oversee the department responsible for project management office services, initial public offering advisory, process integration, contracts and legal compliance, due diligence and transaction structuring ensuring that transactions deliver their intended strategic and financial value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Execution & Integration: Lead the drafting of transaction documents, completion of due diligence, and transaction negotiations. Execute processes after deal closure, including capital structuring, funding drawdowns, and compliance.
- Financial & Regulatory Management: Oversee implementation of deal-related structures (share purchase agreements/sales and services agreements covenants, milestone-linked funding, earnouts). Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (companies act, FEMA, SEBI, RBI, tax regulations).
- Stakeholder & Client Advisory: Act as trusted advisor to boards, promoters, CFOs, and private equity investors on post-transaction strategy. Manage cross-border coordination with legal, tax, and regulatory teams.
- Practice Leadership & Team Management: Build and lead a multidisciplinary team (finance, accounting, tax, process experts) to deliver transaction execution services. Drive standard operating procedures for post-deal advisory, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Business Development & Thought Leadership: Develop service offerings in post-deal advisory and integration. Contribute to proposals, client pitches, and relationship management with key accounts.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Deep expertise in M&A deal execution, post-deal integration, carve-outs, and restructuring.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS), tax structuring, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage stakeholders (boards, promoters, PE funds, global investors).
- Hands-on experience with scenario analysis, synergy modelling, and performance tracking.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and client relationship skills.
