Job Role:

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Professional, you will serve as the primary interface between finance and controllership teams to close management information systems (MIS) and optimize operational costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth business acumen by conducting data-driven trend analysis for operational metrics with a focus on improving profit and loss statements while providing key insights to leadership.
  • Establish processes for new initiatives and enhance existing ones focusing on governance and cost optimization.
  • Prepare, manage, and publish comprehensive business scorecards and MIS.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of MIS and general ledger accounts to facilitate monthly MIS closure.
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate closely with Controllership and Business Finance teams.
  • Deliver weekly dashboards for weekly and monthly reviews.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc analysis on various projects as required.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience post CA (CA qualification is mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience in FP&A is desirable; experience in a startup would be an asset.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous.
