Job Title:

Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

A position exists for an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant maintenance, with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation principles.

  • Supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to source spare parts and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage departmental activities to ensure efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance of PLC systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Implement cost-saving measures to reduce maintenance costs.

Education & Experience Required:

  • B.E. / B.Tech. in Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication with 10-12 years of experience in plant maintenance.
  • Additional requirements include training cum certification course on Radiation Safety Aspects of Nucleonic Gauges and active registration on ELORA AERB Website for Radiation Professionals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles.
  • Experience with SAP and SAP Plant Maintenance module.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
