Job Title: Power Plant Operations Supervisor

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the safe and efficient operation of power plant equipment. This includes monitoring and controlling parameters, maintaining records, and directing personnel on day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control all running equipment parameters following prudent operating practices.
  • Maintain and update station operation records and prepare required reports on plant operations.
  • Directly supervise operations and maintenance personnel assigned to the shift, overseeing their day-to-day activities.
  • Interpret plant operating data and render decisions accordingly.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling generating unit operations, preparing shift assignments for all personnel.
  • Conduct performance tests, analyze operational data, and develop operational plans to optimize plant performance.
  • Perform diagnostic work on electro-mechanical faults and recommend equipment repairs as necessary.
  • Issue work permits for cold, hot, lockout-tag-out, and isolation procedures as required for safe maintenance work.
