Leadership Position in Plant Maintenance Management

The ideal candidate for this senior leadership role will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) and 10 years of experience in managing maintenance and utilities operations in large dairy, food, or pharma plants. They should be familiar with advanced maintenance practices like Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPA), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance teams and ensure effective operations
  • Leading and managing a team of up to 100 people responsible for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets to optimize resource allocation
  • Driving energy efficiency initiatives and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Executing and achieving plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Nature of Experience:

  • Experience in managing equipment like pasteurizers, separators, bactofuges, vacuum pumps, DSI, high-pressure pumps, blowers, fluid beds, sifters, cheddar masters, and cookers
  • Knowledge of utilities equipment like boilers, steam networks, ammonia-based refrigeration systems, compressed air and nitrogen generation systems, VAM, RO, UF, sand filters, carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, transformers, etc.
  • Proven track record in preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets, driving energy efficiency initiatives, and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Requirements:

  • Energy Manager certification
  • Boiler Engineer certification
  • TPM Facilitator certification
  • Six Sigma certification would be an added advantage
  • Capital Expenditure (CapEx) project execution experience
