Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

Location: Worldwide

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced expert to lead and manage our enterprise-level data governance initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in data governance, including strategy development, process implementation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data governance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows using BPMN and workflow designer.
  • Integrate data governance systems with enterprise systems (e.g., Snowflake, Informatica, Tableau, Azure, SAP) using APIs and connectors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce data governance policies.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Provide training and support to users on data governance usage and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external data governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data governance platforms, including configuration, workflow development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise-level deployments of data governance platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
