Governance Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Governance professional to drive organizational excellence through the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance policies and processes.

About the Role

This role focuses on ensuring adherence to organizational standards while fostering continuous improvement initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Initiatives for Operational Efficiency: Create and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and governance processes across the organization.
  • Policies and Processes: Develop, document, and maintain organization-level policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Metric Capture and Analysis: Capture, analyze, and publish organization-level metrics to provide insights into performance, compliance, and areas for improvement.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks in governance processes and implement controls to mitigate them.
Requirements
  • Strong Understanding of PDLC: A solid grasp of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with Compliance Requirements: Experience working with industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to align governance practices with business objectives and product lifecycle requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technology-Driven Organization: Experience in a technology-driven organization with a focus on product development.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Prior experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
