Data Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise-level data platforms using modern technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, managing data lakes, and overseeing the development of ETL/ELT pipelines.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cloud data architecture, modern data pipelines, and open-source technologies. Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS services, and data governance is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Build Scalable Data Platforms: Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data architectures using PostgreSQL and cloud-based services.
  • Manage Data Lakes: Oversee the development and maintenance of data lakes on AWS infrastructure (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift Spectrum).
  • Develop and Manage ETL/ELT Pipelines: Design, build, and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Python or open-source frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Ensure Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and metadata management to ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Cloud Data Architecture: Strong experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures using PostgreSQL and AWS services.
  • Modern Data Pipelines: Proficiency in developing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines using Python or open-source frameworks.
  • Open-Source Technologies: Familiarity with open-source data frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka).
  • Strong Programming Skills: Solid programming skills in Python (or similar) and proficiency in scripting languages.
