Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Freelance Access Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in authorization platforms, data governance, and fine-grained access control.

The successful engineer will design and implement policies that safeguard sensitive business and customer data across multiple platforms, including CRM systems, data lakes, reporting tools, APIs, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and configure authorization policies to enforce fine-grained data access controls.
  • Integrate access control solutions with CRM platforms, cloud data warehouses, APIs, reporting tools, and AI/ML models.
  • Support the rollout of region- and country-specific access rules, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine access policies and ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Ensure data access governance supports privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Work in Agile delivery environments using tools such as JIRA (Cloud for execution, Align for planning).
  • Contribute to upcoming integration initiatives across supply chain, commerce, and customer-facing applications.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with authorization platforms (e.g., policy-based access control solutions).
  • Strong background in data governance, access management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, notification systems, and reporting pipelines).
  • Experience working in Agile teams with JIRA Cloud and Align for project tracking and planning.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
