Job Description:

Position Overview:

  • Structural Engineer
  • Experience: between 5-25 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Basic and detail design engineering activities for assigned projects in Petrochemical Plants, Oil & Gas Plants, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Preparation and review of PFD, P&ID's, project specific specifications, design calculation/analysis, procurement specification.
  • Interface with other disciplines, user departments, and clients.
  • Estimation/engineering work related to bids.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
  • Skills Required: STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, STAAD Foundation (preferable)

Additional Requirements:

  • Conversant with StaadPro and SAP software.
  • Conversant with FEM-based connection design tools like Ideastatica.
  • Working knowledge of Auto Cad and other 3D tools like Tekla structure, Navisworks, SPR etc.
  • Jacket and topside pre-service analysis.
  • Jacket impact analysis.
  • Pile drivability analysis.
  • Preparing load calculations and loading sketches.
  • Basic knowledge of Industrial Architecture, PHE, and Roadways.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of structural steel/reinforced concrete design and detailing of Process/non-process buildings Machine foundations Pipe rack Factory Buildings etc.
  • Experience in international codes and standards (preferable).
