Senior Backend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex challenges related to data integration, processing, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement strategies for optimized data storage and high availability, ensuring seamless failover mechanisms to prevent data loss or disconnection.
  • Contribute to architectural design and decisions, driving innovation and technical excellence within the team.
  • Develop new features or improve existing ones, enhancing product capabilities and user experience.
  • Manage and refine Continuous Integration (CI) procedures to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Identify and address performance and scalability issues, taking ownership of complex requirements and breaking them down into manageable deliverables.
  • Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and training sessions, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and Scrum meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, JavaScript, .NET language (C#, VB.Net, etc.), JAVA
  • Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, NoSQL (like MongoDB), Graph databases (like GraphDB)
  • Reporting tools: Power BI, Grafana
  • APIs: REST, SOAP
  • Familiarity with Bigdata platforms and Message Queueing platforms is an asset
  • Experience with GitHub, Jira, and DevOps is a plus
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
