Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development in the State Highway segment for the Transportation Safety Vertical of the Commercial Branding & Transportation Division. The primary focus will be on building relationships at the bureaucracy and headquarters level of the ministry, PWD, key contractors & consultants. This involves working to secure specific road safety fund allocations and releases of road safety guidelines from the department. The individual must have a deep understanding of customer pain areas, analyze and develop innovative solutions to promote 3M's innovative solutions with key influencers in the State Highway segment, contractor, and consultant segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end channel & client relationship management and key account management
• Demonstration of products & presentation to top officials
• Conducting seminars to create awareness and differentiation of the products
• Incorporation of product specifications in Government schedules and developing circulars for proper implementation
• Demonstrating advanced understanding of customer requirements, markets, and business challenges
• Developing Opportunity hoppers and managing them through Sales Automation tools
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop useful technical notes/proposals for end customers
• Mapping top independent engineers/consultants and conducting technical sessions for these customers
• Developing key account engagement programs and driving relationship building in collaboration with sales teams

Qualifications:

• MBA with a proven sales track record
• 10-12 years of experience in business development/marketing
• Good understanding of doing business with Government Departments like PWD, SMART City, and Municipal Corporation
• Experience in sales to Government Institutions/Road Infrastructure Projects/Companies
• Experience in conducting seminars/product demonstrations for large customer gatherings
• Experience in concept selling/specification incorporation/tender generation
