Robotics Product Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced and innovative robotics professional to spearhead our robotic product development. This key role requires expertise in end-to-end robotics, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes.

  • Lead the design & development of robotic products from concept to manufacturing, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the process.
  • Mentor and manage a team of skilled engineers, ensuring design best practices and timely delivery.
  • Utilize industry-leading software such as SolidWorks for 3D modeling, motion studies, assembly design & detailing.
  • Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings (GD&T, BOMs, tolerance stack-up) to ensure seamless production.
  • Design for manufacturability – focus on sheet metal, cable routing, assembly optimization, and machined parts integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CTO, vendors, and manufacturing experts, to drive successful project execution.
  • Drive R&D initiatives, contributing to patents and intellectual property filings.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 6–12 years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, or related fields.
  • Deep expertise in SolidWorks, including motion study, GD&T application, assembly design, and detailing.
  • Proven track record of leading product development from concept to manufacturing in the industrial domain.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication techniques: sheet metal design, cable routing, and machined parts integration.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing detailed BOMs, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to build and mentor high-performance teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
