API Gateway Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled API Gateway Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using Axway API Gateway and Axway API Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop API solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex API design and integration issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience with API gateways, such as Axway, AWS or equivalent cloud platform.
  • Ability to advise application teams on developing high-quality APIs that comply with architectural and security standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex API design and integration issues.
  • Broad understanding of web service implementation paradigms (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience using integrated development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code).
Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with designing, developing, implementing, and managing APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience working with API design patterns and authentication & authorization controls using OAuth.
  • 3+ years of experience with large-scale migration projects involving multiple application teams.
