Job Overview:

The Product Owner is a pivotal role in defining and executing against a product vision. This includes creating, owning, and continuously improving strategic and tactical plans for the product.

This position requires prior experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the cybersecurity domain and strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, and technical fluency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing product backlog
  2. Writing user stories, requirements specifications, and managing releases with Engineering and Program Management
  3. Understanding product vision as well as end-customer requirements to dictate system requirements and drive product backlog grooming and development
  4. Participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and articulating customer and business value to all levels of the organization
  5. Building rapport with customers, conducting customer advisory sessions, and working with UX/UI to build great products
  6. Developing compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate the product story and interface with the Business/Marketing team to conduct product demonstrations, evaluate, prioritize, and build new features and tools

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the cybersecurity domain
  • Strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, and technical fluency
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams from diverse disciplines
  • Good knowledge of agile development process, managing Sprints, and utilizing process tools to track features, enhancements, bugs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
