Head of Legal Operations

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional with strong expertise and hands-on experience in corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all legal activities, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Provide practical and commercially sound legal advice to support business operations.
  • Develop and motivate staff to meet deadlines for filing executions in various courts.
  • Initiate civil, SARFAESI, Lok Adalat, 138 NI Act, and criminal proceedings for recovery.
  • Represent clients in disputes before the High Court, District Courts, Tribunals, and other bodies.
  • Prepare notices under various Sections and engage with Advocates, Solicitors, Government Law Officers, and prepare them for trials.
  • Handle contractual disputes, appoint arbitrators, initiate arbitration Proceedings, and obtain awards.
  • Manage HR-related issues and defend court proceedings filed by employees before the Labour court, Lok Adalat, and other forums.

Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and licensing arrangements. Review and finalize legal notices and replies to legal notices issued and received by the company.

Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
  • LLM or further specialization in business or commercial law is an advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a corporate environment or in-house legal counsel role.
