Job Opportunity: Deputy General Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Deputy General Manager. This position requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, and excellent writing and communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid management, tendering, and proposal development, with experience working with government clients, PSUs, and private companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Preparation: Responsible for preparing tenders for Oil and Gas, Energy sectors, including technical write-ups, cost estimation, subcontracting, joint ventures, and client liaisoning.
  • Bid Management: Proficient across end-to-end bid management, tendering, and proposal development for government clients, PSUs, and private companies.
  • Tender Identification: Identify relevant tenders from PSUs, government agencies, and private companies through various resources.
  • Bidding Process: Well-versed with the bidding process at government and GEM portals.
  • Client Relations: Maintain excellent professional relations with clients and coordinate with central functions for bid compliance (accounts, legal, FICO, etc.).
  • Execution Team Coordination: Coordinate with the execution team and maintain relationships with all external parties for bidding jobs.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation and correspondence of BD activities and update credentials on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Tech in Elect/Mech or equivalent + 10 years of experience in bidding/tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: MBA preferred.
