Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring that work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently, ensuring timely completion of project milestones as per schedule, and maintaining site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.

You will also assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills, conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc., and ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety norms. Additionally, you will resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with project managers and consultants.

Key Skills Required
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Construction methods and standards
  • Proficiency in Reading Drawings: AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (preferred)
  • Leadership and Team Coordination: Good leadership and team coordination skills
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively
  • Willingness to Travel: Willingness to work at project sites across Tamil Nadu
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development, and land use permitting
  • AutoCAD Experience: Experience with AutoCAD
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design skills
