Chief Financial Data Architect

A key position is available for a Financial Data Architect to lead the modernization of our finance data platform. This involves designing and implementing enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
The successful candidate will have expertise in dbt data modeling and experience with complex financial concepts. They will work closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust financial systems.
- Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
- Lead adoption of best practices in dbt for financial data transformations, lineage, and governance.
- Collaborate with Finance leaders to understand business drivers, risks, and reporting requirements.
- Evaluate and implement technical solutions that meet real-world business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture: Design and implement data warehouses using Snowflake.
- DBT Expertise: Lead adoption and best practices in dbt.
- Collaboration: Work with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business requirements.
- Technical Solutions: Evaluate and implement solutions that meet business needs.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial data architecture, dbt, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex financial systems and be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
