Job Title: BIM Specialist MEP

Our client is seeking a skilled BIM Modeller MEP to work on high-impact, cutting-edge projects in the architectural design industry.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in developing detailed models from drawings, sketches and calculations for MEP services encompassing architectural design and civil engineering elements.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for MEP services from schematic design through construction phases for architecture and interior design schemes.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, design engineers and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.
  • Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines ensuring accuracy and compliance with project design intent.
  • Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules and quantity take-offs.
  • Ensure coordinated and clash-free models are developed in coordination with the design team.
  • Maintain and organize Revit project files, libraries and standards.
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Stay updated on the latest Revit software updates, industry trends and best practices.

The desired candidate profile includes:

  • Diploma in MEP Engineering Design or equivalent experience.
  • Fresher to 8 years of experience as a Revit Modeller with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in modelling MEP services in architectural projects.
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing and building materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
