BIM Modeling Specialist Job Overview

As a BIM modeling specialist, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed building information models (BIMs) with a minimum level of development (LOD) 350+. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools, as well as a solid understanding of multidisciplinary coordination in BIM workflows.

  • Develop and manage detailed BIM models with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP services within the model for seamless integration.
  • Execute modeling tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Create and manage parametric Revit families as per project scope.

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate and compliant models.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and model reviews.
  • Ensure that all models meet the required standards and regulations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.
  • Solid understanding of multidisciplinary coordination in BIM workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications are preferred but not mandatory:

  • Experience working on industrial projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in other BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D or Graphisoft ArchiCAD.
