Effective operations serve as the foundation of every organization, particularly in our field where seamless execution is crucial for retaining and acquiring new clients.

We seek a Senior Manager - Operations who will collaborate with the team to ensure timely compliance with rules on behalf of brands required to fulfill their extended producer responsibility targets for plastic and e-waste.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brands adhere to existing rules and regulations
  • Standardize formats according to government, brand, or requirements
  • Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands
  • Proactive follow-ups with key stakeholders
  • Maintain a keen eye for details, especially in compliance-related documentation
  • Handle multiple teams both on-field and off-field
  • Increase team efficiency by building optimized processes
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper organization operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives actively
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within defined parameters
  • Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams to improve implementation processes
  • Collaborate closely with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in handling operations
  • Prior experience in waste management is beneficial
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with solid ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work in a team
