Key Role: Company Secretary and Compliance Expert

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Manager. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and advisors, playing a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including share registers, board meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation.
  • Draft, review, and file important legal documents, such as Articles of Association, Memorandum of Association, and Shareholder Agreements.
  • Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective governance practices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in corporate governance and compliance, preferably in an accounting or finance firm.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACS (Associate Company Secretary) or CS (Company Secretary) certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
