Senior Data Protection Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for an individual with expertise in data privacy regulations, including GDPR and Middle East Privacy Laws. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of global data privacy frameworks, such as ISO 27701, NIST DPF, and GAPP.
The ideal candidate will be able to conduct current state assessments of our data privacy program, design and develop a data privacy framework, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data privacy strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data privacy assessments against leading standards and regulations.
- Design and develop a data privacy framework.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to implement data privacy strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 3+ years working on data privacy projects.
- Bachelors or masters degree in cyber law, IT, computer science, software engineering, or data privacy.
- Certifications like CIPP, CIPM, and ISO 27701 LI are a plus.
