Job Title: Senior Accountant

Our company seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and verify financial documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in matching with purchase orders, invoices, and supplementary bills.
  • Maintain cash control, prepare vouchers, and perform daily transaction entries in accounting systems.
  • Manage creditors effectively, processing vendor payments and handle LC documentation with bankers for smooth operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including bank reconciliation statements and ensure accurate computation of salaries and wages.
  • Assist in finalizing accounts, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements.
  • Draft official letters related to finance and statutory matters, and prepare management information system (MIS) reports.
Statutory Compliances:
  • Compute and pay taxes, e-file returns, issue tax certificates, calculate advance tax, and file income tax return.
  • Register for GST, generate challans, file GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, claim refunds, conduct audits, and manage E-Way bills.
  • Contribute to provident fund and ESI, generate UAN, process transfers/withdrawals, and register employees under PF/ESI.
  • Ensure compliance with legacy laws, including VAT/CST, Excise Duty – filing, reconciliations, and audit support.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in finance/accounting, preferably with a specialization in Finance/Accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.

Ambitious and organized individual with excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple timelines and maintain accuracy in their work.
