Job Title: Financial Consolidation Specialist

As a Financial Consolidation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial consolidation process to support business operations.

This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, system performance, and user support while collaborating with finance, IT, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial consolidation processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Data Management & Integration
    • Oversee financial data imports, ETL processes, and integrations with ERP solutions.
    • Maintain data reconciliation and validation procedures to ensure accuracy.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data automation and streamline workflows.
  • System Administration & Maintenance
    • Administer and maintain the financial consolidation application, including configurations, workflows, and security settings.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Manage user access and roles to maintain data security and integrity.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using financial reporting tools.
    • Assist finance teams with report customization, KPIs, and variance analysis.
    • Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience administering financial consolidation applications.
  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidation processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with configuration, workflows, calculations, and security settings.
  • Understanding of SQL, ETL, and data integration with ERP solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Business).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting, automation, and APIs.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and financial reporting standards.
