Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

About This Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability and performance of backend services. Additionally, they should have experience with observability tools and practices to derive actionable insights from operational data.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Scalable Solutions Design: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability and performance of backend services.
  2. Observability Tools Development: Support the development and implementation of observability tools and practices to derive actionable insights from operational data.
  3. Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to design and support scalable, reliable, and resilient systems on AWS.
  4. Platform Engineering Projects: Contribute to platform engineering projects to create automated solutions for deployment, scaling, and operations.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role, such as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar is required.
  3. A basic understanding of AWS solutions including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, and RDS is necessary.
  4. An interest and understanding of Platform Engineering concepts and principles is essential.
  5. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack is preferred.
