Job Description

About the Position:

  • Lead daily operations for financial applications, ensuring they run smoothly and meet business objectives.
  • Ensure financial platforms meet defined performance, reliability, and uptime standards.
  • Develop automation to reduce manual effort and operational risk, enhancing incident response and maintaining comprehensive monitoring and logging.
  • Establish best practices for capacity planning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems, collaborating with engineering and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations for Accounting and Finance applications and data platforms.
  • Reliability & Availability: Ensure Accounting and Finance platforms meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Develop automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities.
  • Incident Response: Lead and participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12-15 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering.
  • Strong experience with monitoring/observability tools, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective.
  • Strong scripting/programming experience for automation and tooling.
