About This Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the position of Reliability Specialist.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  • A strong background in automating operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring is required to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with software engineering teams to build reliable services leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • The ability to develop and maintain system monitoring, alerting, and incident response tools utilizing languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby is essential.
  • Participation in on-call rotations and effective incident response is crucial to ensure business continuity.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources.
  • Developing and implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies to protect against data loss and system failures is a key responsibility.
  • The chosen candidate will be responsible for promoting reliability, availability, and performance best practices throughout the engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering with expertise in tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux/Unix systems.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
