About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our engineering operations and drive strategic projects forward.

This role will involve leading cross-functional teams, overseeing project execution, and ensuring seamless integration of engineering and project functions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, engineering, compliance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.

The Associate Director will be responsible for driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement aligned with corporate standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Projects: Develop and execute large-scale projects that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage Engineering Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the engineering team and ensure smooth operation of all systems.
  • Drive Innovation: Encourage creativity and innovation within the team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all projects and operations meet regulatory requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, project management, engineering, or related sectors in regulated industries.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, and pharmaceutical industries advantageous.

Key Skills

  • Project Management: Expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., MDR, ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, JJPS, and other continuous improvement tools.
